The cost of essential equipment:
- Incubator - £15,000 - £18,000
- Ventilator - £20,000 - £25,000
- Monitor - £3,000 - £7,000
"About 400 babies each year are admitted to our Special Care Baby Unit. Some just need a few days to gain their strength, others need specialist treatment over the long term.
The Special Care teams are highly trained, dedicated individuals. Yet sometimes that's not enough. We kneow that with the latest breathrough in technology, we can do much more.
Through its fundraising efforts for advanced equipmeny, Scoo-B-Doo helps us give our tiny, fragile patients the best possible care - and the chance to grow into healthy, amazing boys and girls.
